Ketosis is a natural process the body initiates to help us survive when food intake is low. During this state, our bodies produce "ketones", which are produced from the breakdown of fats in the liver. The main goal of a properly maintained keto diet is to force your body into this metabolic state. We don't do this through starvation of calories but starvation of carbs.
Keto has a very strict protocol that limits the amount of food you can eat along with the types of food.
Intentional: requires a committed mindset and disciplined approach for the max results and benefits.
Consumption: This is a high fat moderate protein and very low carb program
Protein: organic/grass feed, no hormones, antibiotics, nitrates or GMOs
Fish: wild caught
Portion sizes: fixed portions based on personal profile
